Yeah, we've been really hit hard here, as well. It was up to 80 yesterday. A bunch of friends went to the beach. Sadly, we couldn't go since my kids are all in school. January is TOUGH!
Ha! I feel for you. While I soooo wish we lived closer to family, I really wish you'd all move out to where the weather is a bit more congenial! Good luck!
We've had a bad introduction to Iowa. Today we had a new record of 30 below with humidity and wind chill making it feel like 50 below. And then you get people like Kim W rubbing in the 80 degrees into our face...so not fair.

yeah. I can't believe this cold. Every time I take the dog out I am more and more amazed... I sure hope it warms up!
