I have to give a little background here. Most of you know already that I make pictures out of pressed flowers. I have been thrilled to have spring flowers popping up in my yard, and have started pressing like crazy. This morning my "Sweetie" had a mother's day tea party in kindergarten. All the kids said "I love my mom the most when..." She finished that statement like this: "I love my mom the most when she makes her flower pictures." It was very cute. I like to think that she said this because, as much as possible, I try to involve my kids in my work. My kids LOVE to help me press flowers. They bring me flowers and leaves to smoosh as often as they can find them. My darling "Sweetie" brought this (see picture) to me this evening. . . this is what she said, "Mom, here is a cute little airplane thing for you." *pause* "or its an alien girls hair." Isn't that what you saw? I love her!!!

You are so stinking talented. It's not really fair for the rest of us. I saw both the bum and the alien hair...maybe there's a Halloween picture in your future. LOL! You'll create something just as beautiful as you always do.
i know right? living in a place that has real winters has made me truly appreciate spring....growing up in california spring wasnt obvious at all so i never loved it the way i love it now!
yeah we'll be in utah this weekend....alex is getting married! crazy huh! it'll be fun to be there; plus, i get to see my hubby in a tux which is always fabulous... :)
