Just wanted everyone to know the latest news. Daniel is still in the hospital, though I was discharged yesterday. He is a bit jaundice, though not being treated for it just yet. Tomorrow's blood work will tell whether he needs light therapy or not. He is still not eating well, and has had several feedings through his NG tube. This is all very typical for a 34 week gestation baby, but still very hard to take in. He can come home when he has eaten on his own for 48 hours.
I know he will be fine, but I would still really appreciate any prayers in his (and my) behalf.

Man, leaving your baby at the hospital is so hard. Little Girl Morty was there for ten days. Even though you know they will be okay your heart still aches for them. Just hang in there and let other people help to ease your burdens, even the small things that you think, "I should be able to do this."
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your sweet baby. May he come home soon
Tell Daniel that he has a really fun home to go to with a big brother and some big sisters who are going to teach him a lot of really cool stuff and that the sooner he eats the sooner he gets to go play. It would work for me...if I ever had a problem eating...lol! In the meantime, hang in there and we'll continue to keep you all in our prayers.
Man, I feel for you, our prayers are with you and baby, mine is not doing so well either, the doctors say he was about 3 weeks eary now, and he too has a very bad case of jaundice. He is at home on the lights and my heart aches too cuz I can't hold him all the time. We will find out today if he has to be put in the hospital, and get a transfusion. :{
My 4th daughter had light therapy and she was fine..I had to stay anyway, got a blood clot..We went home together..All was well..Will be happy for you all, when little Daniel is with you..love and prayers...
